Tübingen

The world wide renown university town of Tübingen owns its reputation to
the Eberhard Karl University which was founded in 1477. As one of the oldest and most renowned universities of the Deutsche Reich it always attracted poets and philosophers, students and scientists. Even today the town is characterized by its students. There are lots of small shops and
antiquarian booksellers. Many cafés, taverns and pubs and the romantic historical town centre
offer a lot of pleasure. The town has a rich cultural life, you may enjoy various concerts
or exhibitions. During summer, you can take a boat ride with the “Stocherkahn” on the Neckar.
