Hohenzollern Castle

Situated prominently on the hilltop of the Zollernalb, the Castle of Hohenzollern is one of the most impressive castles in Germany. Since the 11th century it has been the family seat of the dynasty of princes of Hohenzollern and the German emperor. The castle we now see was built in the 19. century in the neo gothic style. The rooms, which are still private property of the Hohenzollern Family, house a great collection of art of the times of Prussian Glory, for example the crown of emperor Wilhelm II. There are guided tours during the whole year. You can enjoy a fantastic view from the Zollernberg of the Schwäbische Alb.

Hohenzollern castle is open throughout the year and can be visited daily with a guided tour.

Winter season : November 01st – March 15th: 10.00 am to 4.30 pm.
Summer season: March 16th – October 31st: 9.00 am to 5.30 pm
